Lori Lieberman’s new single, “Rise”, is a call to citizens everywhere to stand up  and take part in the new world awareness that we have seen in every country on the globe, crying out for change. In unison and through collaboration we have seen the power of unity and a call to action.  “Rise up, put your money where your mouth is.”

Lori Lieberman, best known for “Killing Me Softly” has released fourteen CDs from Capitol to V2 Records. She has toured worldwide with the likes of Leonard Cohen, Randy Newman, and The Jayhawks to name a few.

“Rise” on V2 Records and Drive On Records, will be featured on her upcoming 15th CD due for release in the late fall. It was originally written and performed in her concert tour in the Netherlands a few months back. And the song brought the audiences to their feet with its inspiring and powerful message. Recorded in Amsterdam and Los Angeles, “Rise” is proud to feature with Lori, Dutch recording artist, Celine Cairo, and noted American musician, Jonathan Clark, on vocals, and joined by electric guitarist, Lyle Workman (Beck, Sting) and drummer, RyanMacMillan, of Matchbox 20.
